YoUR EveNTS is an event coordinating group based in Manila. Our team specialize in weddings, debuts, baptismal/christening, birthdays/anniversaries, special occasions and even personalized wedding invitation, souvenirs and missalette printing services.
YoUR EveNTS is the brainchild of long-time friends Hencel Villagonzalo-Barrio and Susana Sabalburo-Santos. Although the group formally opened at the beginning of 2005, Hencel and Susan were both coordinating personal events on their own prior to the decision to be partners. They even managed and coordinated both of their weddings both happened in 2006 – 8th of April for Hencel (WAH YUEN SEAFOOD RESTAURANT)and 9th of April for Susan(THE COCONUT PALACE).
Hencel had her start in events coordination and hosting/emcee in 2001 as his brother’s wedding coordinator for their wedding. Aside from that she was then an active member of The Lord’s Flock Catholic Community as a Net Household Member and a Lector/Commentator giving her good grasp of church ceremony. Aside from that she was also JPIA’s (Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants) Dance Coordinator and with this she was exposed in duties involving planning and executing activities in her community and school. Her biggest project was that of her youngest sister’s debut, Ryza Villagonzalo, a special child with downs syndrome last 2004 and Christening of Ivan Villagonzalo.
It was in 2005 that Hencel and Susan decided to become partners and form YOUR EVENTS. They started with 2 players – Jeffrey and Gong and from there they have added reliable team players. It was then in 2007 when Susan left and opted to take on a full time job as a mother and was replaced by Ellaine Zambrana who became Hencel’s partner up to the present.
This year from YOUR EVENTS it was renamed to YOUR EVENTS CONNECTION. Hencel once again teamed up with his brother Jeffrey (now based in Bahrain) to bring the business to a different level – GETTING PROSPECTIVE CLIENTS ABROAD. Jeffrey saw the untapped market from single OFW workers who are planning to get married in the Philippines but doesn’t have time to plan their wedding since they are based abroad – so the plans of expanding our prospective market.
